Remembering Ulsters' Brave Men
The prominent text reads:
"REMEMBERING ULSTERS' BRAVE MEN"
At the center of the mural is a statue of a soldier, with bright red poppies around the base. The badge at the top shows "Ulster Division" with the dates 1914–1918 marking the period of the First World War. Silhouettes of soldiers are visible at the bottom, representing a line of marching troops.
Beneath the mural, a smaller plaque reads:
"AT THE GOING DOWN
OF THE SUN
AND IN THE MORNING
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM"
This is part of the famous verse from the poem "For the Fallen" by Laurence Binyon, commonly recited during remembrance ceremonies. The mural honors the sacrifices made by soldiers from Ulster during the Great War.
